“I have been planning a wedding open day for a while, and after meeting fantastic wedding suppliers at our wedding tweet ups such as vintage stylist Kirsten Butler aka The Little Wedding Helper and photographer Ria Mishaal this spring seemed the perfect time!
It may surprise you to hear that all rooms in Goldbrick House are licensed for ceremonies, and we can cater for intimate weddings of 20 in our Study or Library, 45 in our Loft and roof terrace, and 85 in our largest room, The Restaurant. We can even cater for up to 200 guests for an evening party!
Our open day is going to be the perfect opportunity for couples who are planning a wedding to see the rooms set up for a ceremony, wedding breakfast and drinks party, and have the bonus of meeting with bespoke wedding suppliers.
There is also a ‘goodie bag’ for every bride, a chance to win a champagne toast and 25% off Café Brunch on the day”
The event runs from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 13th May 2012 and there is no entry fee. For more information and to register your interest contact Katherine @email@example.com

Yesterday evening I was invited to sprinkle my invitations on the gorgeous floral display by Wookie Flowers at the Thistle hotel wedding fayre in Brighton. Wookie Flowers is a florist based in Brighton which does the most beautiful flowers for events and weddings. I am in love with her blackberry bouquet – her designs are so unique and innovation – and fun! Visit Amy and her lovely flowers at www.wookieflowers.com
But before you head over there, take a look at some of the snaps from the event. A nice serving of wedding invitations to satisfy any appetite. Enjoy!
Yesterday was our first time at the Designer Civil Partnership Show and we were not disappointed - we had a fab day meeting over 330 couples in only 4 hours! wow… and lots of fabulous other exhibitors. The venue for the event was the Shakespeare Globe which just sits at Bankside on the edge of the river – the venue is breathtaking with views of St Pauls across the river and the beautiful London skyline. If you are looking for a venue for your big day in London town i would highly recommend this venue for the wow factor – read more at loveswan.co.uk – the music started up and the crowds arrived..
The event was covered heavily by the media as across the river the Roman Catholic church were actively campaigning against the Government who are potentially going to allow civil marriage for same sex couples..this did not dampen our spirits..indeed we celebrates fun, love and above all equality! Here is a news article by Channel 4 which explains more about Government plans regarding this issue and some shots of the event with a few interviews sprinkled in for good measure.
Only two weeks to go until we exhibit at the fabulous Designer Civil partnership event in London. If you are planning your big day and are in the city come and visit us at the event as we will be having unmissable offers to snap up on the day.

I have noticed that Kraft materials for invitations, aswell as on the day stationery is very popular as the moment with so many rustic and garden themed weddings. A really interesting and fresh combination is combining the matte, tactile texture of kraft/manilla card with brightly coloured neon inks and envelopes. This trend is popular at the moment in fashion, interior design and the stationery world. We love it!
Yay! so so excited to be able to now offer Letterpress printing for your stationery. This form of printing creates the most beautiful, tactile invitations you can imagine! To celebrate the launch of this new range I am offering FREE custom design for every order received during February and March. This includes your personal consultation, a plethora of design ideas and a mood board of concepts not only for your ‘before the day’ invitations but also for those ‘on the day’ bits and pieces you will need. To tie the day together from start to finish.
Designs are printed onto the highest quality 350 gsm card, available in a range of colours, or you can be even more luxurious and print onto thicker 540 gsm card. You have the choice of either 1 or 2 colour inks, which can be any colour of the rainbow as we print using the Pantone colour system.
Letterpress invitations are supplied with linen white envelopes as standard or you can add the finishing touch by adding Envelopment pocketfolds to your stationery order.
We are excited to be expanding our Envelopment colour range with new stock! Details coming soon.
